The first duty assignment for a military recruit is basic training.  All must ship to basic from their MEPS of origin.

StarForce has long assisted MEPCOM with the transportation of "Shippers" from the MEPS to the airport for flights to basic, but we now provide economical and convenient ground passenger transportation for:
  • Navy Recruits to the Great Lakes Naval Training Center in North Chicago
  • Army Recruits to Fort Jackson in South Carolina
  • Army Recruits to Fort Benning in Georgia
  • Army Recruits to Ft. Sill in Oklahoma
  • Marine Recruits to Parris Island in South Carolina
Basic Training Routes are designed around predictable Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO) passenger flows so that regularly scheduled drivers and vehicles can be exclusively and efficiently dedicated to the military's needs.
The result is often considerable economy over commercial  air carriers.

Very much like StarForce's Overland Recruiting Routes, the Basic Training Routes provide door to door service -- in this case from the Front Control Desk of the MEPS to the in-processing offices of the basic training facility.

So, the military clientele can be assured that their young military passengers are in the care of a StarForce driver from the moment they depart the MEPS to the moment they arrive at basic training.
